  • Savings

    The Customer Services Specialist will be the first point of contact for Masthaven Bank and will be responsible for all savings customer contact with the Bank.    The savings team will deliver excellent service through all contact channels with its customers: telephone, online, email, internet and post. Contacts will be from both prospective and existing savings customers requiring support and guidance.   The team will also be responsible for all operational servicing of customers including opening accounts for customers who do not go straight through the online application, reconciling payments, preparing manual fulfilment.
  • Savings

    The Savings Customer Team Manager (SCTM) will be responsible for managing the savings team and managing savings customer contact with the Bank.  The team will initially be approximately 7-8 people but will grow as the Bank develops.
  • Short Term Lending

    Underwrite approved (complex) Bridging, Development & Commercial loan applications within company lending criteria and within personal lending mandate. Ensure that the principles of the ESIS or DIP are adhered to, in full, throughout the processing of the application. Accurately assess the risk attributed to the application ensuring that the loan is both suitable and fit for purpose. Identify any potential fraudulent activity and escalate any concerns to compliance. Communicate effectively with relevant parties on the loan building successful working relationships with solicitors and valuers. Understand and assess credit reports, documentation relating to verification of employment/self-employment and valuation reports. Have the confidence to approve/reject applications in line with policy and to communicate your decision to interested parties. Provide excellent customer service to internal and external customers alike. Follow and keep up to date with current best practice and regulatory requirements in line with company training.
  • Servicing & Collections

    To provide our customers with a friendly yet firm management of their accounts, treating them in a fair and professional manner. Working as part of a supportive team. Communicating with customers who are often experiencing financial difficulties in stressful and sometimes emotional situations. 
  • Development Finance

    Underwrite complex development and bridging loan applications within company lending criteria and within personal lending mandate. Accurately assess the risk attributed to the application ensuring that the loan is both suitable and fit for purpose. Communicate effectively with relevant third parties, building successful working relationships. Provide excellent customer service to internal and external customers alike. Take management responsibilities within the Underwriting team.
