FP&A Analyst (6-month FTC)

Purpose of Role

The purpose of the role of the FP&A Analyst is to deliver the ‘best in class’ analysis and insight needed by management and the business to optimise the performance of the bank.

Key Competencies

  • ACA, ACCA or CIMA qualified
  • Ability to understand and work with multiple business divisions
  • Ability to challenge constructively while working collaboratively with different levels of seniority across the business

  • Ability to work to tight deadlines
  • Solutions focused with the ability to apply wider business context
  • Commercial awareness, particularly of the financial services / retail banking sectors
  • Advanced Excel / financial modelling skills
  • Planning, prioritisation and execution, with flexibility to adapt plans
  • Understanding of regulatory environment
  • Positive influence & proactive initiative
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced challenging environment
  • Excellent organisational skills
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills


  • Qualified accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA)
  • 1-2 years proven post qualified experience in a similar role
  • Financial services / retail banking experience preferred
